We ‘actively rest’ in The Lord.
We wait for The Lord.
We honor His Name(nature and intentions/will) in all we do, say, think and all those we relate to. This is how we rest/wait on Him.
There is a faith that is an act of the will.
It isn’t inspiration or motivation as much as choice; a galvanized quality of a person’s character. (In fact, this exactly what all faith is).
I am grateful for inspired days, motivated moments and feel good seasons, but my faith is IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. I take courage in Him.
His thoughts. His intentions. His nature. I put my faith in Him. All that follows is up to Him.
What joy it is to not have to rely on our own motivation or inspiration!
This is The Formidable Way.
Psalm 27:13-14
